Transcend's M.2 MTE470A SSD is a self-encrypting drive (SED) that complies with TCG Opal 2.0 standards. Data is protected by hardware-based 256-bit AES encryption and LBA (Logical Block Address) sector-specific permissions.

Transcend's MTE470A M.2 SSD is built with 112 layers of 3D NAND flash and PCI Express (PCIe) Gen 3 x4 interface, delivering never-before-seen transfer speeds. Applied with a 30 µ" gold finger PCB, Corner Bond technology and anti-sulfur resistance, the MTE470A is ruggedized to withstand demanding industrial applications. The MTE470A is fully tested internally and can operate in extended operating temperatures ranging from -20 ℃ ~ 75 ℃. Its M.2 2242 form factor is compact and portable, ideal for mobile computing applications.
