Tempel Group has participated in the ExpoSolar Colombia 2022 fair, held in the city of Medellin. The objective of this participation was to learn about the development of the solar market in Colombia and to position itself with the key players in the sector.
ExpoSolar Colombia 2022 is a trade fair for solar thermal and photovoltaic energy, LED lighting, energy efficiency and electric mobility, which sees the sector as a major driving force for the country's economy and sustainable development.
It is conceived as a national and international fair and its purpose is to bring together academia, entrepreneurs, distributors, government, project developers and the general public. The main objective is to consolidate its international character, both in person and virtually, to become the HUB of solar energy business for the Latin American and Caribbean region.
The characteristics of ExpoSolar, added to the fact that Tempel Group has a presence in some Latin American countries, has led the company specialized in the energy sector to choose to attend for the first time the event organized in Medellin.
During the fair, we have held several meetings with companies such as Growatt, Solis, Victron, EPEVER, Trina Solar, Efigen, SolarHub, COPÉRNICO, Weidmüller, JinkoSolar, LONGi, Peimar and Phoenix Contact. The main objective of these meetings was to build alliances with different stakeholders to take advantage of the opportunities that the solutions developed by Tempel can provide.
Both for these meetings and to visit the facilities and companies that have gathered at ExpoSolar 2022, the representatives of Tempel Spain have counted on the presence of Octavio Galarreta, a member of Tempel Peru, to provide technical and commercial knowledge on the different applications of solar solutions.
In our participation, we have received the visit of more than 300 customers from different Latin American countries such as Colombia, Ecuador, Panama and Venezuela, from more than 20 major suppliers in the energy sector and an increase of more than 100 thousand US dollars in quotations. Likewise, it has allowed the company specialized in the energy sector to get in touch with EPCs (turnkey plant contractors) and companies interested in energy storage.
